Jasper needs our help

When Jasper was rescued last spring with his four siblings, we thought he was so little because he was the runt of the litter. While his brothers and sisters grew healthy and strong, Jasper stayed tiny. As they grew to double his size, Jasper continued struggling with digestive problems and couldn't gain weight -- no matter how many vet visits we made or different kitten foods he tried. And he was just so little, at times we weren’t sure if he was going to make it. After a series of testing and imaging we learned that Jasper has a hiatal hernia that's been preventing him from absorbing nutrients and living a normal life. Now nine months old and just over three pounds, he's finally big enough for the surgery. The estimate for the surgery is $5,000 -- and it's his chance at the healthy, happy life every kitten deserves.
